هدفت الدراسة الحالية إلى التعرّف على واقع التواصل اللفظي الفعّال في الصفوف الافتراضية في (ظل جائحة كورونا) في جامعة الملك فيصل بالأحساء. وقد تبنت الدراسة المنهج النوعي للإجابة عن تساؤلاتها معتمدة على أداتين لجمع البيانات هما: المقابلات المعمقة شبة المقننة والتي تم إجراؤها مع طلاب وطالبات الجامعة، وبؤرة التركيز التي تم إجراؤها مع أعضاء هيئة التدريس. وقد كشفت نتائج الدراسة عن وجود تباين في اتجاهات المشاركين في الدراسة نحو التواصل اللفظي في الصفوف الافتراضية، يرجع إلى اختلاف المميزات التي يقدمها هذا النوع من الصفوف، ومنها: زيادة الثقة في النفس، فرصة للتعليم والتعاون، وتحقيق لفكرة التعليم والراحة. والسلبيات منها: غياب لغة الجسد، وقصر وقت المحاضرة مقابل أعداد الطلبة الكبير. كما كشفت الدراسة عن آليات التواصل المتبعة ومشكلاته وبعض المقترحات لتطويره وقدمت مجموعة من التوصيات. This study aimed to investigate the reality of communication in virtual classes under Coronavirus Pandemic at King Faisal University. qualitative research methodology was adopted to answer the research questions based on two different methods to collect data which were in depth semi structured interviews and focus group. The interviews were conducted to collect data from both male and female students while the focus group was conducted to collect data from facility members. The findings illustrated that the participants in this study had different attitudes towards communication in virtual classes which can be attributed to the advantages and disadvantages that could be gained by such classes. For example, virtual classes can increase students' self-steam, encourage students' collaboration and provide education with more comfort. On the other hand, they may contain numerus disadvantages such as the absence of body language, limited class time with big number of students. The study also explained the communications' techniques and problems and provided different suggestions and recommendations. (Published abstract)
