هدف البحث إلى وضع تصور مقترح لتضمين أبعاد التنمية المستدامة في محتوى كتاب الجغرافيا بالتعليم الثانوي (نظام مقررات) بالمملكة العربية السعودية، استخدمت الباحثتان المنهج الوصفي بأسلوب تحليل المحتوى، ولتحقيق هذا الهدف أعدت الباحثتان قائمة بأبعاد التنمية المستدامة الرئيسة والفرعية التي ينبغي تضمينها في محتوى كتاب الجغرافيا بالتعليم الثانوي، وعرضت على عدد من المحكمين المتخصصين، وأصبحت القائمة في صورتها النهائية مكونة من الأبعاد الرئيسة بلغت (3)، وقد قامت الباحثتان بحساب الثبات لأداة التحليل عن طريق تحليل المادة نفسها مرتين، وعلى فترات متباعدتين، وتمت مقارنة نتائج تحليل الباحثة الأولى بنتائج تحليل الباحثة الثانية على الفقرات التي سبق تحديدها، وحساب معامل ثبات التحليل بتطبيق معادلة هولستي (Holsti)، وبلغ قيمة متوسط معامل الثبات (0.95). وأسفرت النتائج عن وجود تفاوت في توزيع أبعاد التنمية المستدامة الفرعية المتضمنة بمحتوى كتاب الجغرافيا بالتعليم الثانوي، حيث جاء بالمرتبة الأولى البعد الاقتصادي بنسبة (%51.16) ، وفي المرتبة الثانية جاء البعد البيئي بنسبة (%43.60)، وبالمرتبة الأخيرة البعد الاجتماعي بنسبة (%5.33) السبب في تلك النتيجة يعود إلى طبيعة موضوعات كتاب الجغرافيا، وعليه قامت الباحثتان ببناء تصور مقترح لتضمين أبعاد التنمية المستدامة في كتاب الجغرافيا بالتعليم الثانوي (الملخص المنشور)

The aim of the research is to develop a proposed conception to include the dimensions of sustainable development in the content of geography textbook in secondary education (curriculum system) in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia ,and presented to a number of specialized arbitrators, to achieve this goal, the two researchers prepared a list of major and minor sustainable development dimensions that should be included in the content of geography textbook for secondary education (curriculum system), and the list in its final form consists of the main dimensions amounted to (3), the researchers have calculated the stability of the analysis tool by analyzing the same material twice, and at separate intervals. In such a case, the time component is used to measure the stability of the analysis. The results of the first researcher were compared to the results of the second researcher on the previously determined paragraphs, and the coefficient of analysis was calculated by applying the holster equation, as the average value of the stability coefficient (0.95), the degree of stability is considered high, after which the book was analyzed, the results also showed a disparity in the distribution of the dimensions of sustainable sub- development included in the content of geography textbook in secondary education (curriculum system), where the economic dimension came first by 51.16%, in the second place came the environmental dimension by 43.60%, and lastly the social dimension by 5.33%, this is due to the nature of the topics covered in the book of geography, and accordingly the two researchers built a proposed concept to include the dimensions of sustainable development in the book of geography in secondary education (curriculum system).
