هدفت الدراسة إلى الكشف عن مستوى الخوف من استقبال تعاطف الآخرين لدى طلبة الجامعة المكفوفين في ضوء متغير النوع، والكشف عن إسهام الخوف من استقبال تعاطف الآخرين في التنبؤ بصعوبات تنظيم الانفعال والأعراض الاكتئابية، وتكونت عينة الدراسة من (85) طالبًا وطالبة (48 ذكرًا، و37 أنثى)، تم اختيارهم من جامعات: الملك سعود، والملك خالد، وجازان، والطائف، وتراوحت أعمارهم الزمنية ما بين (18-29) سنة، وبلغ متوسط أعمارهم الزمنية (22.97) سنة، وانحراف معياري قدره (3.05). واستخدمت الدراسة مقياس الخوف من استقبال تعاطف الآخرين من إعداد الباحث، ومقياس صعوبات تنظيم الانفعال من إعداد كوفمان وآخرين (Kaufman, et al., 2016) وترجمة الباحث، والمقياس متعدد الأبعاد لاكتئاب الأطفال والمراهقين من إعداد (عبد الخالق، 2003). وأظهرت النتائج ارتفاع مستوى الخوف من استقبال تعاطف الآخرين لدى أفراد العينة، ووجود فروق في الخوف من استقبال تعاطف الآخرين بين الذكور والإناث في اتجاه الإناث، وأن الخوف من استقبال تعاطف الآخرين يفسر (33.4%) من التباين في صعوبات تنظيم الانفعال، ونسبة (43.8%) من التباين في الأعراض الاكتئابية. The study aimed to explore the level of fear of receiving compassion from others among blind students at universities according to gender and to investigate the possibility of prediction of difficulties in emotion regulation and depressive symptoms from Fear of receiving compassion from others. The participants were (85 students; 48 males and 37 females. Age: 18-29 years, M= 22. 97, SD= 3.05. They were randomly selected from King Saud University, King Khalid University, Jazan University, and Taif University. The study used fear of receiving compassion from others scale (prepared by the researcher), difficulties in emotion regulation scale (Kaufman, et al., 2016: translated by the researcher), and the multidimensional child and Adolescent depression Scale (prepared by Abdel-Khalek (2003). The results showed that the level of fear of receiving compassion from others was high among the study sample. In addition, it indicated that there were significant differences between males and females in fear of receiving compassion from others in favor females, as well as fear of receiving compassion from others explained (33.4%) of the variation in difficulties in emotion regulation and fear of receiving compassion from others explained (43.8%) of the variation in depressive symptoms.
