هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى معرفة أثر استخدام استراتيجية "تنال القمر" في تنمية مهارات الفهم القرائي لدى طلبة الصف الثالث الابتدائي بغزة. استخدمت الدراسة المنهج التجريبي، وتكونت عينة الدراسة من( 73) تلميذاً، ولتحقيق أهداف الدراسة تم استخدام قائمة لمهارات الفهم القرائي مكونة من (3) مستويات موزعة على (13) مهارة، واختبار لمهارات الفهم القرائي مكون من (20) فقرة، وتم استخدام بعض الأساليب الإحصائية المناسبة، وقد أظهرت النتائج ما يلي: وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين متوسطات درجات المجموعة التجريبية التي درست باستراتيجية تنال القمر، ومتوسطات درجات المجموعة الضابطة التي درست بالطريقة الاعتيادية في تنمية مهارات الفهم القرائي ومستوياته: الفهم الحرفي، الفهم الاستنتاجي، الفهم الإبداعي بنسبة (76.5%) لصالح أفراد المجموعة التجريبية. كما أظهرت النتائج وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين متوسط درجات المجموعة التجريبية في الاختبار القبلي والبعدي في مهارات الفهم القرائي، وأن استراتيجية "تنال القمر" لها تأثير كبير في تنمية مهارات الفهم القرائي لدى تلاميذ الصف الثالث الابتدائي. وقد أوصت الدراسة بالاهتمام بتنمية مستويات الفهم القرائي لدى تلاميذ المرحلة الأساسية الأولى. وباعتماد طرائق تدريس تعتمد على المشاركة الفاعلة للمتعلم مثل: "استراتيجية تنال القمر". This study aimed to know the effect of integrating a strategy called (Targeting the Moon) in teaching Gazan third graders on developing their reading comprehension skills. To achieve the objectives of the study, a list of reading comprehension skills were used and distributed into three levels, each level embraced 13 subskills. A reading comprehension test was developed and administered. Relevant appropriate statistical methods and tools were used. The results showed that there were significant differences in the means of scores at (0.05%) between the experimental group who learned via the proposed method and the control group who studied via the normal way favouring the experimental group in terms of reading comprehension skill and its subskills including literal understanding, elicitation and creative thinking. They outperformed the control group and the percentage was 76.6%. Also, there were significant differences in the pre and post-tests that targeted the reading and comprehension skills. The study recommends the focus on developing the levels of reading and comprehension skills in the lower elementary stage and stressed the importance of adopting teaching strategies that involve active participation of the children in their own learning such as targeting the moon.
