هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى تقصي أثر استخدام النمذجة الرياضية في تنمية مهارات التفكير الناقد في الرياضيات لدى طالبات الصف التاسع الأساسي، ولتحقيق ذلك، تم إعداد أداة الدراسة المتمثلة في اختبار مهارات التفكير الناقد الذي تضمن خمس مهارات رئيسية (مهارة تحديد الفرضيات، مهارة التفسير، مهارة الاستنتاج، مهارة الاستدلال، مهارة تقويم الحجج)، وتم التأكد من صدق وثبات الأداة بالطرق المناسبة. تم استخدام المنهج شبه التجريبي في الدراسة، حيث طبقت الدراسة على عينة بلغ عددها (74) طالبة من مدرسة نسيبة بنت الحسن الأولى، تم اختيار شعبتين عشوائيا من شعب المدرسة وتعيين المجموعة التجريبية والضابطة عشوائياً، الأولى (36) طالبة في المجموعة التجريبية تعلمن من خلال عمليات النمذجة الرياضية، والأخرى (38) طالبة في المجموعة الضابطة تعلمن بالطريقة الاعتيادية، وذلك في الفصل الدراسي الثاني من العام 2017- 2018. وأظهرت نتائج الدراسة وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية لصالح المجموعة التجريبية لاستخدام النمذجة الرياضية في تنمية مهارات التفكير الناقد ككل، كما كشفت النتائج عن وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية عن أثر النمذجة الرياضية في تنمية كل مهارة من مهارات التفكير الناقد. وفي ضوء ما أسفرت عنه نتائج الدراسة تمت التوصية بالاهتمام بعمليات النمذجة الرياضية بشكل فعّال أثناء تدريس المحتوى الرياضي. The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of mathematical modeling on the development of critical thinking skills in mathematics among the ninth grade students. To achieve this, the study tool was designed to test critical thinking skills, which included five main skills (the skill of determining hypotheses, the skill of inference, the skill of evaluating the arguments), and was verified the validity and stability of the tool in the appropriate ways. A semi-experimental approach was used in the study. The study was applied to a sample of 74 students from the Nusseibah bint al-Hassan school. Two random groups were selected from the school people and the experimental group was randomly assigned. The first 36 students in the experimental group learned through (38) students in the control group learned the normal way, in the second semester of 2017-2018, and the results of the study showed statistically significant differences in favor of the experimental group to use mathematical modeling in the development of critical thinking skills as a whole, as revealed the results C. There are statistically significant differences in the effect of mathematical modeling on the development of each skill of critical thinking skills. In the light of the results of the study, it was recommended that mathematical modeling processes should be taken into consideration during the teaching of mathematical content. (Published abstract)
