هدفت الدراسة إلى التعرف إلى واقع استخدام شبكات التواصل الاجتماعي وأثره في العزلة الاجتماعية والإشباعات المتحققة للطالبات الصم في المرحلة الثانوية. استخدمت الدراسة المنهج الوصفي، واختيرت عينة طبقية عشوائية مكونة من (59) طالبة من الطالبات الصم في المرحلة الثانوية بمنطقة مكة المكرمة موزعة على (3) مدن، وهي: (مكة- جدة- الطائف). ولتحقيق أهداف الدراسة صُمِّمت استبانةٌ أداةً لجمع البيانات، تكوَّنت من محورين أساسيين؛ تناول المحور الأول واقع استخدام شبكات التواصل الاجتماعي، وتناول المحور الثاني موضوع العزلة الاجتماعية، وشملت الاستبانة (50) فقرة. وتوصلت الدراسة إلى مجموعة من النتائج أهمها: أن درجة الإشباعات المتحققة من استخدام شبكات التواصل الاجتماعي لدى الطالبات الصم كانت كبيرة بمتوسط (2.3729)، كما أشارت النتائج إلى وجود أثر ذي دلالة إحصائية لاستخدام شبكات التواصل الاجتماعي في الإشباعات المحققة لديهن، تتمثل في وجود علاقة ارتباطية طردية قوية بينهما. وأن درجة العزلة الاجتماعية لديهن كانت كبيرة بمتوسط (2.4495)، وأظهرت النتائج وجود أثر ذي دلالة إحصائية لاستخدام شبكات التواصل الاجتماعي في العزلة الاجتماعية لديهن، تمثل في وجود علاقة ارتباطية طردية قوية بينهما. The study aimed to identify the reality of social media networks use and its impact on social isolation and gratifications achieved for deaf girls in the secondary stage. The study used the descriptive analytical method, and a stratified random sample consists of (59) deaf female students in secondary school stage that was selected at Holy Makkah region, distributed over (3) cities (Makkah- Jeddah- Taif). To achieve the objectives of the study, a questionnaire was designed as a data collection tool. It consisted of two main dimensions, the first dimensions dealt with the reality of using social media networks, and the second dimensions dealt with the issue of social isolation, and the questionnaire included (50) paragraphs. The study reached a set of results, the most important of which are as follows: The degree of gratifications achieved through using social media networks for deaf students was large with an average of (2.3729) The results also indicated that there is a statistically significant effect of the use of social media networks on their gratifications, which indicates the existence of a strong direct correlation between the gratifications achieved and the use of social media networks. And the degree of their social isolation was large with an average of (2.4495). The results also showed a statistically significant effect of the use of social media networks on their social isolation, which indicates a strong direct correlation between social isolation and the use of social media networks.
