Test wiseness is one of the important personal factors that positively affect test scores and has gained increased interest in recent times. So, the current study aimed to find out the level of test wiseness and the big five factors of personality for graduate students in the University of Tabuk in light of some variables: gender, specialization and academic level. The study used the comparative descriptive methodology and the study sample included (296) male and female postgraduate students who joined the following master programs (administration and educational planning, foundations of education, Hadith and ulumuh, measurement and evaluation, literature and rhetoric, linguistics, Arabic language and its literature, practical clinical psychology, curricula and teaching methods and mathematics) in the 1st semester of the academic year 1439-1440H. The test-wiseness scale and the big five factors of personality list have been applied on the study sample and the results of the study showed that test wiseness for post-graduate students at the University of Tabuk was high and the strategies used after answering came in the first rank. The results also showed statistically significant differences in test wiseness among students according to gender, specialization and academic level. The results also indicated that high test-wiseness students achieved high levels in the extroversion and conscientiousness factors and low test-wiseness students achieved high levels in the neuroticism factor. The results were discussed in light of the literature reviewed. Based on the results, the study recommended conducting training courses and workshops to improve pre- and during answering strategies of postgraduate students and holding training courses and workshops to improve the skills of test wiseness for post-graduate male students, those in the art stream and freshmen from the different majors.
