هدفت الدراسة إلى التأكد من إمكانية تنمية مهارات القرن الحادي والعشرين ونزعات التفكير لدى طلاب الصف الثالث المتوسط المتفوقين ذوي المستويات المختلفة في معالجة المعلومات، من خلال برنامج إثرائي قائم على معايير العلوم للجيل القادم (NGSS) ، وتألفت عينة الدراسة من (68) طالباً، بواقع (34) طالباً لكل من المجموعتين التجريبية والضابطة، طبق البرنامج الإثرائي على المجموعة التجريبية، في حين طبق على المجموعة الضابطة البرنامج المعتاد، وتم تطبيق أدوات الدراسة، وهي: مقياس مهارات القرن الحادي والعشرين، ومقياس نزعات التفكير، ومقياس معالجة المعلومات، وبعد جمع المعلومات وإجراء المعالجة الإحصائية تم التوصل إلى النتائج التالية :1) توجد فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية عند مستوى (0.05) بين متوسطي درجات طلاب المجموعتين التجريبية والضابطة في التطبيق البعدي في أدوات الدراسة لصالح طلاب المجموعة التجريبية. 2) لا توجد فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية عند مستوى (0.05) في مقياس مهارات القرن الحادي والعشرين ، ومقياس نزعات التفكير يعزى إلى متغير معالجة المعلومات. 3) وجود علاقة ارتباطية ذات دلالة إحصائية بين الدرجة الكلية لقياس مهارات القرن الحادي والعشرين والدرجة الكلية لمقياس نزعات التفكير، كل على حدة للتطبيق البعدي لطلاب المجموعة التجريبية .4) إن حجم تأثير البرنامج الإثرائي كان كبيراً في عينة كل من: مقياس مهارات القرن الحادي والعشرين، ومقياس نزعات التفكير، حيث بلغ قيمة مربع إيتا(h2) على التوالي لهم: (0.90، 0.91) وقد تضمنت الدراسة عددا من التوصيات في ضوء نتائج ومقترحات لدراسات مستقبلية. This study aimed at exploring the possibility of developing twenty-first century skills and thinking dispositions for gifted students with different levels of information processing by implementing an enrichment program based on next generation science standards (NGSS). The sample of study consisted of (68) students distributed equally into two groups. The experimental group studied by using the enrichment program while the control group studied the usual program. The instruments used in the study included: twenty-first skills scale, thinking dispositions scale and information processing scale. The data collection and analysis revealed the following results: 1) There were statistically significant differences at (α ≥ 0.05) between the mean scores of the control group and the experimental group in the post measurement of the study instruments; in favor of the experimental group. 2) There were no statistically significant differences at (α ≥ 0.05) in the twenty-first century skills scale and the thinking dispositions scale attributed to information processing variable. 3) There was a positive correlation statistically significant between the overall score of the twenty-first century skills scale and the thinking dispositions scale, each separately, in the post measurement of the experimental group. 4) The effect size of enrichment program was large as Eta-squared (η2) values in the twenty-first century skills scale and the thinking dispositions scale were (0.90, 0.91) respectively.
