تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى تعرف مدى توافر مهارات القرن الحادي والعشرين في تدريس الرياضيات وفق آراء معلميها بدولة الكويت. ولتحقيق هدف الدراسة، استُخدمَ المنهج الوصفي التحليلي؛ فقد تكونت عينة الدراسة من (940) من معلمي مدارس التعليم العام بدولة الكويت، اختيروا بطريقة عشوائية، واستخدمت الاستبانة أداةً لقياس توافر مهارات القرن الحادي والعشرين في تدريس الرياضيات وفق آراء معلميها. توصلت الدراسة إلى حصول المجال الثالث، وهو مهارات المهنة والحياة، على أعلى متوسط حسابي، تلاه المجال الأول، وهو مهارات التعلم والإبداع، وأخيرا المجال الثاني، وهو مهارات الثقافة الرقمية. أما المجالات الفرعية الأحد عشر لمهارات القرن الحادي والعشرين من وجهة نظر أفراد العينة؛ فقد حازت جميعُها درجةَ توافر كبيرة ما عدا مهارة الثقافة الإعلامية؛ إذ جاء توافرها بدرجة متوسطة. ومن ثم؛ قدمت الدراسة عددا من التوصيات، منها تصميم برامج وتطبيقات رقمية تساعد معلمي الرياضيات على تنمية الثقافة الرقمية، وتدريبهم على استخدام الوسائل والوسائط الإعلامية المتعددة في مجال الرياضيات، وابتكار الجديد منها وتوظيفها بفاعلية لإكساب الآخرين المعرفة الرياضية، وإعادة صياغة برامج إعداد معلمي الرياضيات لتواكب مهارات القرن الحادي والعشرين. This research paper aims to identify the extent of availability of twenty-first century skills in teaching mathematics from the perspective of mathematics teachers in the State of Kuwait. To achieve the aim of the study, the descriptive approach was used. The study sample was randomly selected and consisted of (940) teachers in the State of Kuwait. A questionnaire was applied as a tool to measure twenty-first century skills in teaching mathematics. The study results showed that Career and life skills dimension was rand first from teachers' perspective, followed by Learning and innovation skills diminution and Digital literacy skills the study recommended designing digital programs and applications that help mathematics teachers in developing digital literacy culture. It also recommended providing training courses for teachers to use media in the field of Mathematics effectively to provide others with mathematical knowledge. And reformulating programs for preparing mathematics teachers to cope with the skills of the twenty-first century. (Published abstract)
