هدف البحث الحالي إلى تقصي فاعلية استراتيجية الأبعاد السداسية (PDEOED) في تدريس الدراسات الإجتماعية لتنمية مهارات الفهم التاريخي وقيم الإنتماء الوطني لدي تلاميذ المرحلة الإبتدائية، وتكونت مجموعة البحث من (60) تلميذاً من تلاميذ الصف السادس الإبتدائي تم تقسيمهم إلى مجموعتين إحداهما تجريبية وتكونت من (30) تلميذاً، والأخري ضابطة وتكونت من (30) تلميذاً تم اختيارهم من مدرسة عبد الرازق طه الإبتدائية المشتركة التابعة لإدارة أسوان التعليمية، وتم استخدام المنهج الوصفي، والمنهج شبه التجريبي، وقد تحددت مُشكلة البحث الحالي في ضعف مهارات الفهم التاريخي وقيم الإنتماء الوطني لدي تلاميذ الصف السادس الإبتدائي، وتوصل الباحث إلى نتائج مؤداها: وجود فرق دال إحصائياً عند مستوي (0.05) بين مُتوسطي درجات تلاميذ المجموعة التجريبية والمجموعة الضابطة في التطبيق البعدي لاختبار مهارات الفهم التاريخي ككل، وأبعاده، ومقياس قيم الإنتماء الوطني لصالح تلاميذ المجموعة التجريبية، وكانت نسبة الكسب المُعدل لــ "بليك" مقبولة بصفة عامة بالنسبة لمهارات الفهم التاريخي وقيم الإنتماء الوطني، كما أن حجم تأثير الاستراتيجية مُرتفعاً بصفة عامة، وقد أوصي الباحث بضرورة استخدام الاستراتيجية في تدريس الدراسات الإجتماعية، والاهتمام بتنمية مهارات الفهم التاريخي وقيم الإنتماء الوطني لدي المتعلمين بالمراحل التعليمية المختلفة. The aim of the current research is to investigate the effectiveness of a unit formulated according to the Strategy (PDEOED) in teaching social studies to develop the skills of historical understanding and the value of national belonging among primary school pupils, and the research group consisted of (60) students from the sixth grade of primary school, they were divided into two groups, one of them experimental It consisted of (30) pupils, and the other was a female officer, and it consisted of (30) pupils who were chosen from the Abd al-Raziq Taha Joint Primary School of the Aswan Educational Administration, and the descriptive and semi-experimental curriculum was used, and the problem of the current research was identified in the weakness of historical understanding skills and the value of belonging The national level among students of the sixth grade of primary school, and the researcher came to the results of the following: There is a statistically significant difference at the level of (0.05) between the mean scores of the experimental group and the control group in the post application to test the historical understanding skills as a whole, and its dimensions, and the scale of the value of national belonging for the students of the experimental group, the adjusted earnings rate for "Blake" was generally acceptable in terms of historical understanding skills and the value of national belonging. A high strategy in general, and the researcher recommended the necessity of using the strategy in teaching social studies, and paying attention to developing the skills of historical understanding and the value of national belonging among learners at different educational stages.
