هدفت الدراسة إلى تقديم آليات مقترحة للإفادة من فرق البحث الافتراضية، من أجل دعم التحالفات الجامعية، واستمرارية التفاعل الدولي بين الجامعات في الأداء البحثي. ولذلك اعتمدت الدراسة على المنهج الوصفي التحليلي، والذى تم توظيفه فى تناول الأسس النظرية المتعلقة بالتحالفات الدولية فى الأداء البحثي للجامعات والمتمثلة فى فلسفتها وأهدافها ومبرراتها وأنواعها، وتوضيح طبيعة فرق البحث الافتراضية من حيث مبادئها وأهدافها ومتطلباتها ومراحل بنائها والتحديات التى تواجهها. ثم جاء بيان لملامح دور فرق البحث الافتراضية فى دعم التحالفات الدولية فى الأداء البحثي للجامعات المعاصرة، وذلك من خلال: عرض ثلاثة من خبرات الجامعات العالمية فى تطبيق فرق البحث الافتراضية فى أدائها البحثي فى إطار التحالفات الدولية بين هذه الجامعات وجهات أخرى، ومن ثم استنباط أهم الأدوار التى تؤديها فرق البحث الافتراضية فى دعم التحالفات الدولية للجامعات، وذلك من خلال تحليل الإطار النظري للدراسة ومن ممارسات الجامعات العالمية. ثم جاء تحليل واقع التحالفات الدولية فى الأداء البحثي للجامعات المصرية، من خلال عرض الجهود المبذولة لإقامة التحالفات الدولية فى الأداء البحثي للجامعات المصرية، ومعوقات الإفادة من التحالفات الدولية في الأداء البحثي للجامعات المصرية. ولقد انتهت الدراسة بتقديم ثلاث آليات مقترحة للإفادة من أسلوب فرق البحث الافتراضية فى تحقيق دعم التحالفات الجامعية فى الأداء البحثي للجامعات المصرية، بالإضافة إلى متطلبات تنفيذ هذه الآليات بما يوافق الواقع المصري من وجهة نظر بعض الخبراء والمتخصصين فى الإدارة التربوية والتعليم الجامعي. The study aimed to present proposed mechanisms to benefit from the virtual research teams, in order to support university alliances, and the continuity of international interaction between universities in research performance. Therefore, the study relied on the descriptive and analytical approach, which is employed in dealing with the theoretical foundations related to international alliances in the research performance of universities represented in their philosophy, objectives, justifications and types, and to clarify the nature of virtual research teams in terms of their principles, objectives, requirements, stages of construction and the challenges they face. Then came a statement of the features of the role of virtual research teams in supporting international alliances in the research performance of contemporary universities, through: Presenting three of the experiences of international universities in applying virtual research teams in their research performance within the framework of international alliances between these universities and other parties, and devising the most important roles The virtual research teams perform in support of international alliances of universities, by analyzing the theoretical framework of the study and from the practices of international universities. Then came an analysis of the reality of international alliances in the research performance of Egyptian universities, by presenting the efforts made to establish international alliances in the research performance of Egyptian universities, and the obstacles to benefiting from international alliances in the research performance of Egyptian universities. The study ended with the presentation of three proposed mechanisms to benefit from the virtual research teams' approach in achieving support for university alliances in the research performance of Egyptian universities, in addition to the requirements for implementing these mechanisms in line with the Egyptian reality from the point of view of some experts and specialists in educational administration and university education.
