This study deals with the problems facing Arabic language departments in teaching grammar between reality and contemporary, as these departments suffer from a severe crisis of various faces and multiple causes. This study stems from saying that the most important of these reasons are related to the grammatical lesson in university education, and Arabic grammar is one of the most important sciences of the Arabic tongue. It has gained a prominent place in Arabic language science since the second century AH. And that the problem of the contemporary Arabic language, in fact, is part of a broader and more comprehensive problem plaguing Arab societies, and it needs a comprehensive and fundamental treatment. This research consists of five demands, an introduction, a conclusion and suggestions for the advancement of the Arabic language. (Published abstract)
