يرتكز مفهوم الجامعات ذات المستوى العالمي بشكل رئيس على الجامعات التي تحصل على أعلى التصنيفات والمراتب الأكاديمية في التصنيفات العالمية للجامعات في جوانب التميز الأساسية بالجامعة والمرتبطة بأدائها الأكاديمي والخدمي وعلاقاتها الدولية. اهتم البحث الحالي بدراسة خبرات بعض الجامعات ذات المستوى العالمي في اليابان وكندا وفنلندا، وإمكانية الإفادة منها في اقتراح بعض الإجراءات لتطوير أبعاد المستوى العالمي لجامعة عين شمس. وتبنى البحث فرضا مبدئيا نص على: إن الأخذ بنموذج الجامعات ذات المستوى العالمي في الخبرات الأجنبية المختارة قد يؤدي إلى التغلب على بعض مشكلات الجامعات التقليدية. وهدف البحث إلى الوقوف على الأسس النظرية للجامعات ذات المستوى العالمي في العالم المعاصر، والوقوف على أبعاد الجامعات ذات المستوى العالمي في اليابان وكندا وفنلندا في ضوء القوى والعوامل الثقافية المؤثرة فيها، كما هدف البحث إلى طرح مجموعة من الإجراءات المقترحة لتطوير أبعاد المستوى العالمي لجامعة عين شمس. واستخدم البحث في سبيل تحقيق أهدافه مدخل الحلول الكبرى لجورج بيريداى. وقدم البحث في نهايته عددا من الإجراءات التي تتعلق بأبعاد الجامعات ذات المستوى العالمي، والتي يمكنها تطوير أبعاد المستوى العالمي لجامعة عين شمس. The concept of world-class universities is mainly based on universities that obtain the highest academic rankings and ranks in the international university rankings, in the basic aspects of the university's distinction related to its academic and service performance and its international relations. Current research Cared studying the experiences of some world-class universities in Japan, Canada and Finland, and the possibility of benefit from it at suggestion of some measures necessary to develop the dimensions of the World-Class of Ain Shams University. Search adopted initial hypothesis which states that adopting the model of world-class universities in selected foreign expertise may lead to overcoming some of the problems of traditional universities. The goal of research is to identify the theoretical foundations of world class universities in the contemporary world, and to describe and analyze the dimensions of world-class universities in Japan, Canada, and Finland in light of the cultural forces and factors affecting them. The research also aimed to present a set of proposed measures to develop the dimensions of the World-Class of Ain Shams University. The search to achieve its goals used Approach of Grand solutions George bready. In its conclusion, the research presented several measures related to the determinants of world-class universities, which could develop the dimensions of the World-Class of Ain Shams University.
