هدفت الدراسة الحالية إلى التعرف على دور الجامعة في تنمية ثقافة المواطنة النشطة لدى الطالبة المعلمة بكلية التربية للطفولة المبكرة كأولى خطوات بناء مواطن نشط منذ الصغر، وتحقيقا لذلك استخدمت الدراسة المنهج الوصفي، وتمثلت الأداة في استبانة تكونت بصورتها النهائية من (50) مفردة توزعت إلى ثلاثة محاور، وطبقت على عينة عشوائية من طالبات كلية التربية للطفولة المبكرة بجامعة مطروح بلغت (100) طالبة، وتوصلت نتائج الدراسة الميدانية إلى درجة موافقة الطالبة المعلمة بكلية التربية للطفولة المبكرة على درجة مساهمة الجامعة في تنمية المواطنة النشطة لديهن؛ حيث جاءت بدرجة كبيرة للمحاور الثلاثة على التوالي: المحور الأول: العلاقة بين الوطن والمواطن (الحقوق والواجبات)، المحور الثالث: المشاركة المجتمعية والعمل التطوعي للمرأة، والمحور الثاني: المشاركة السياسية للمرأة في الحياة، كما توصلت النتائج إلى عدم وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية تعزى لمتغير التخصص بين الطالبات، كما يوجد فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية تعزى لمتغير السنة الدراسية في تقديرات عينة الدراسة لصالح الفرقة الرابعة، ولصالح المحور الأول: الوطن والمواطن (الحقوق والواجبات)، وانتهت الدراسة بتقديم إجراءات يمكن بمقتضاها تفعيل دور الجامعة في تنمية ثقافة المواطنة النشطة للطالبة المعلمة بكلية التربية للطفولة المبكرة. The present study aimed at identifying the role of universities in developing the culture of active citizenship among prospective kindergarten female teachers in order to create active citizens since early childhood. The descriptive approach was employed to achieve this purpose. Participants (N = 100) were chosen randomly from prospective kindergarten female teachers enrolled at the Faculty of Education for Early Childhood, Matrouh University. The instrument was a 50- item questionnaire, divided into 3 aspects: (a) rights and duties, (c) community service and voluntary work of women, and (b) political involvement of women. It was distributed among participants to explore the degree of their agreement regarding each item. Results revealed the participants' agreement on the contribution of Matrouh University in developing the culture of active citizenship. The first aspect received the highest percentages followed by the third and the second ones. Results also revealed that there were no statistically significant differences related to the participants' specialty while there were statistically significant differences among the responses related to the participants' level in favor of the fourth year and the first aspect. Thus, it was recommended that more university activities be conducted to develop the culture of active citizenship among prospective kindergarten female teachers. (Published abstract)
