The study aimed to develop the role of academic leaders in developing social responsibility in university jobs. The study sought to achieve this by defining the requirements for developing the role of academic leaders in developing social responsibility in the function of teaching, scientific research, and community service). The study used the descriptive survey approach, and the sample consisted of faculty members in the College of Education at King Khalid University. The results resulted in the importance of requirements ranging in degree. Between very high and high, the study recommended spreading the culture of social responsibility in academic circles and creating a program in the College of Education that is no less than a higher diploma, especially concerning societal duty and the consequent responsibility.
