هدفت الدراسة إلى التعرف على مستوى التفكير الجانبي لدى الطالبات المعلمات بالطفولة المبكرة بالجامعة، بالإضافة إلى الكشف عن علاقة التفكير الجانبي بكل من: مستوى الطموح والقدرة على اتخاذ القرار، والتحصيل الأكاديمي لديهن. وتكونت عينة الدراسة من (210 طالبة) من طالبات الطفولة المبكرة بالجامعة.وتم استخدام المنهج الوصفي، وتم استخدام الأدوات التالية: مقياس التفكير الجانبي اعداد الباحثة، مقياس مستوى الطموح إعداد الباحثة، مقياس اتخاذ القرار (اعداد الباحثة). وتوصلت الدراسة إلى أهم النتائج التالية: أن الطالبات بالجامعة بالطفولة المبكرة يتمتعن بالتفكير الجانبي، توجد علاقة دالة احصائياً عند مستوى دلالة (0.01) بين التفكير الجانبي ومستوى الطموح ووجود علاقة دالة احصائياً عند مستوى دلالة (0.01) بين التفكير الجانبي والقدرة على اتخاذ القرار، كما توجد علاقة ذات دلالة إحصائية بين التفكير الجانبي والتحصيل الأكاديمي للطالبات. وأوصت الدراسة بضرورة تزويد الطالبات ببرامج تدريبية لتنمية مهارات التفكير الجانبي للطالبات بالطفولة المبكرة بالجامعة. The current study aims to identify the level of lateral thinking among female teachers in early childhood education field. In the university. Also the researcher aims to identify the relationship of lateral thinking, on the level of ambition, decision- making and academic achievement among female students in early childhood education. The sample of the study consists of (210) female students in early childhood. The tools of the study are: lateral thinking scale Prepared by the researcher, ambition level Scale Prepared by the researcher, and decision- making scale Prepared by the researcher. The findings of the study reveal that: the early childhood students education have lateral thinking , there is a statistically significant relationship at the level of significance (0.01) between lateral thinking and the level of ambition and there is a statistically significant relationship at the level of significance (0.01) between the lateral thinking and the ability to take Also There is a statistically significant relationship between lateral thinking and academic achievement of female students. The researcher in this study recommended the university should provide training programs to develop lateral thinking skills for early childhood students. (Published abstract)
