Educational research is an important axis of development for the society in which it is accomplished, and although it is important that what is accomplished in our universities remains confined to libraries and shelves, and its results are not adopted or relied upon in solving the problems facing the educational system, so the current study aimed to detection the obstacles that limit the activation of university educational research, and to identify the significance of the differences between the members of the sample according to the variables of the study (section, number of researches completed), the researchers adopted the descriptive method, and the sample of the study consisted of (158) educational researchers from the faculty of education at Tishreen University, and was applied a questionnaire consisting of (26) items, divided into three axes (social constraints, administrative constraints, obstacles related to research and researcher), after ascertaining the psychometric properties, and the study concluded that (social constraints, administrative constraints, obstacles related to research and researcher) all limit the activation and employment of university educational research to a high degree according to the opinions of the study sample, and statistical analysis also showed statistically significant differences at the level of indication (0.05) between their average estimates of disabilities due to the variables of the study (section, number of research done), as provided several proposals, the most important of which was to work on the formulation of educational research in a procedural way so as to facilitate its transmission among the beneficiary community and to benefit from it.
