This research aims at determining the level of application of Taiba University of the standard of learning and education in accordance with the requirements of the Evaluation of Education Comission (EEC) in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Furthermore, it aims at determining the differences in the level of application of Taiba University of the standard of learning and education, which are attributable to the variables: gender, academic rank and college. The researcher used the descriptive approach. The study was applied on a sample of 157 members of the University faculty. The research reached several results, the most important of which is that the general arithmetic mean for all fields combined was average with a value of (0.81). The field of quality of teaching ranked first among the fields of study with an average of (3.62), while the seventh and last place was occupied by the field of support of improvement in the quality of teaching with an average of (3.07). The results showed that there are no statistically significant differences due to the gender variable in the application of the standard of learning and education in all areas except for the area of program development. In addition, there are no statistically significant differences in the level of application of the following areas: learning outcomes, program evaluation and revision, student assessment and support for improvement of teaching. There are statistically significant differences attributed to the college variable in the application of standards in the areas of program development and student evaluation, while there are statistically significant differences in learning outcomes due to the academic rank variable, while no statistically significant differences were observed in the other fields due to the academic rank variable. The study presented a set of proposed recommendations that could assist the University in applying the standards of academic accreditation. (Published abstract)
