هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى الكشف عن مستوى المهارات الرياضية الأساسية لدى طلاب البرامج التحضيرية بجامعة الإمام محمد بن سعود الإسلامية، والتعرف إلى وجود فروق في المستوى تعزى إلى متغير المسار الأكاديمي ومتغير نوع المدرسة الثانوية التي تخرج منها الطالب. تكونت عينة الدراسة من (643) طالباً من طلاب البرامج التحضيرية بجامعة الإمام محمد بن سعود الإسلامية بنسبة (31.52%) من مجتمع الدراسة. واستخدمت الدراسة المنهج الوصفي المسحي، وكان الاختبار هو أداة جمع البيانات. وكان من أبرز النتائج التي توصلت إليها الدراسة ما يلي: 1) كان مستوى طلاب البرامج التحضيرية في المهارات الرياضية الأساسية متدنياً؛ إذ بلغ المتوسط الحسابي (4.89) بنسبة (44.45%) من الدرجة الكلية للاختبار. 2) لا توجد فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية في مستوى المهارات الرياضية الأساسية بين طلاب البرامج التحضيرية تعزى إلى متغير المسار الأكاديمي. 3) توجد فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية عند مستوى (0.05) في مستوى المهارات الرياضية الأساسية بين طلاب البرامج التحضيرية تعزى إلى متغير نوع المدرسة الثانوية التي تخرج منها الطالب لصالح المدارس الثانوية الحكومية. This study aims to detect the level of basic mathematical skills among students of preparatory programs at Imam Muhammad Ibn Saud Islamic University, as well as to identify the existence of differences in the level attributed to the academic track variable and the type of high school from which the student had graduated. The study sample consisted of 643 students from preparatory programs at Imam Muhammad Ibn Saud Islamic University representing around (31.52%) of the study population. The study used the descriptive survey method and the data collection tool was the test. The most notable findings of the study were as follows: 1) The students’ level of preparatory programs in basic mathematical skills was low with an arithmetic average of (4.89), which was (44.45%) of the total score of the test. 2) There are no statistically significant differences in the level of basic mathematical skills due to the academic track variable among students of preparatory programs. 3) There are statistically significant differences at the level of (0.05) in the level of basic mathematical skills among students of preparatory programs attributed to the type of high school from which the student had graduated in favor of governmental secondary schools.
