The current research aims to build a training program based on skills of achievement tests design. To achieve these goals, a list of criteria was constructed to evaluate achievement tests prepared by the trainees before starting the program (preassessment). The training program was also prepared according to these skills in eight sessions in four days, the number of trainees (45) of the staff members of the faculty of arts and sciences in the first semester of the year 1437/1438 E. After completion of the program, the achievement tests designed by the trainees were evaluated according to the criteria (post- assessment). Two months after the program was implemented, the end-of-term tests were assessment (follow - up assessment). The semi-experimental - designing pre- and post- test for one group- was used. The results reached statistically significant differences between the average scores of the sample members in the pre assessment and their grades in the post - assessment using the list of skills in the four dimensions of the list of skills (for the test questions in general, for the essay questions, to post- assessment. Where t values were statistically significant. And there were no statistically significant differences between the average scores of the sample members in the post- assessment and the follow – up assessment in the four dimensions of the list of skills and in the total score of the list after two months of implementation of the program. Where the values of (T) were not statistically significant. In light of the results of the study, some recommendations were formulated. (Published abstract)
