هدفت الدراسة التعرف على درجة تقدير عينة من طلبة الجامعات الأردنية (إربد الأهلية، والإسراء) لمستوى جودة الحياة وعلاقتها بمستوى تقدير الذات، ولتحقيق ذلك اتبعت الباحثتان المنهج الوصفي الارتباطي، حيث طورتا مقياسين، الأول: جودة الحياة، وتكون من (34) فقرة، والثاني: تقدير الذات، وتكون من (24) فقرة، وشملت العينة (279) طالباً وطالبة. أظهرت النتائج أن مستوى جودة الحياة جاء بدرجة مرتفعة، وأنه لا توجد فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية تعزى لمتغير الجنس ونوع الكلية، ما عدا في مجال (جودة الحياة الاجتماعية)، وكانت الفروق لصالح الإناث (الطالبات)، وفي مجال (جودة الحياة الصحية) لصالح الكليات العلمية. كما أظهرت النتائج أن مستوى تقدير الذات جاء بدرجة مرتفعة، وأنه لا توجد فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية تعزى لمتغير الجنس في تقدير الذات، لكن وجدت فروق تعزي لمتغير نوع الكلية لصالح (الكليات الإنسانية). The study aimed to investigate the degree of appreciation among a sample of Jordanian universities students (Irbid National University and Isra University) to the quality of life and its relation with self-esteem. To achieve the aim of the study, the researchers followed the correlational descriptive approach, where she developed two measures: the first is the quality of life, which consists of (34) paragraphs, and the second is the self-assessment. It consists of (24) paragraphs. The sample included (279) students. The results showed a high level of quality of life, and that there were no statistically significant differences due to the gender variable and the type of college, except in the field of quality of social life, and in the field of "quality of healthy life" for scientific colleges, the results also showed a high level of self-esteem. There were no statistically significant differences due to the gender variable in the self-esteem, but differences were found for the variable of the type of college in favor of (humanitarian colleges).
