The aim of the research is to show the most important features of strategic planning in terms of concept, importance, characteristics, justifications, approaches and obstacles to strategic planning, then the most important models of strategic planning, and the most important techniques used in it, as well as the goal of the research to show the features of the current reality of public education in Egypt, while clarifying the features of the Egyptian experience in strategic planning on The level of pre-university education in general and general education in particular, leading to the conclusion of the research, represented by providing a future vision for employing strategic planning techniques in public education in Egypt.
