This research aims to identify the effectiveness of Managing the technology and information system and their relationships with continual improvement from the perspective of administrative staff at the University of Science and Technology (UST) in Yemen. For the purpose of the study, descriptive research was used to answer research questions. The questionnaire used for study consists of 47 items. It was distributed to purposeful sample comprised of 80 employees (male & female) of UST. Using SPSS program for analysis, the results showed that high effectiveness for managing the technology and information system at UST with very high mean (4.21/5). Based on each dimension, the effectiveness of managing the information system attained very level of effectiveness with a mean of 4.39, the remaining dimension obtained high effectiveness with an equal mean of 4.19 for quality of systems and utilized equipment, 4.18 for maintenance, and 4.12 for program used in the system. Also, the results showed that there is a difference among respondents for level of positions at significance level α≥0.05 which was in favor of other positions as related to continuous improvement. In addition, there was a weak relationship between managing the information technology and continual improvement at UST with a person correlational coefficient of 0.43 at level of confidence of 95%. The study recommends that there is a need to make focus on completing the process of continuous improvement of programs by following the latest developments in technology and information system.
