هدفت الدراسة إلى التعرف على مستوى تقدير الذات في علاقته بمستوى السلوك العدواني حسب متغير الجنس لدى أطفال الفئات المهمشة "الأخدام" بمدينة إب. وتكونت عينة الدراسة من (80) طفل وطفلة؛ (43) ذكور، و(37) إناث. واعتمدت الدراسة على المنهج الوصفي، وتطبيق كل من مقياس تقدير الذات للأطفال لكوبر سميث، ومقياس السلوك العدواني (إعداد: الباحث). وأشارت نتائج الدراسة إلى أن كلاً من مستوى تقدير الذات لدى أطفال الفئات المهمشة ومستوى السلوك العدواني لديهم كانا متوسطين. كما أشارت النتائج إلى وجود علاقة ارتباطية سالبة دالة إحصائياً بين تقدير الذات والسلوك العدواني بجميع أبعاده. وعدم وجود فروق دالة إحصائياً في مستوى كل من تقدير الذات والسلوك العدواني بجميع أبعاده تعزى لمتغير الجنس. This study aimed at exploring the level of self-esteem and aggressive behavior and the correlation relationship between them among marginalized groups' children "Al-Akhdam" in Ibb city. The study also aimed at exploring differences in the level of self-esteem and aggressive behavior due to the variable of gender. The sample of the study consisted of (80) children; (43) males and (37) females. The study depended on the descriptive method. To achieve the aims of the study, the researcher used self-esteem scale for children (by: Cooper Smith), and aggressive behavior scale (preparing by: the researcher). The results of the study indicated that the level of self-esteem among marginalized groups' children was Average, and also the level of aggressive behavior was Average. The results also revealed that there was statistically significant negative correlation relationship between self-esteem and aggressive behavior. In addition, there were no statistically significant differences in the level of both of self-esteem and aggressive behavior due to the variable of gender. (Published Abstract)
