This study aimed to identify the reality of organizational trust in the secondary schools in the southern governorates of the State of Palestine and its relation to the dynamic of institutional change from the viewpoint of these schools. Study methodology and tools: To achieve the objectives of the study, the researcher used the descriptive analytical method. The study relied on two questionnaires in this regard: the first one aimed to measure the reality of organizational trust as perceived by the secondary school teachers in the Gaza governorates, while the second one aimed to measure the dynamics of institutional change in these secondary schools from the viewpoint of their teachers. Study population and sample: Study population was composed of all male and female teachers of the governmental secondary schools affiliated to the Ministry of Education in Gaza governorates for the academic year 2016 - 2017. Population size was 4572 teachers, and sample size was 348 teachers. Questionnaire return percentage was 91.6%. The study reached several results, the most important ones are: 1) The level of organizational trust among secondary school teachers in the Gaza governorates was very high, with a relative weight of 75.22% from teachers’ viewpoint. 2) The level of dynamic institutional change prevailing in the secondary schools from the viewpoint of the teachers of these schools in the Gaza governorates was very high, with a relative weight of 74.27%. 3) There was a strong positive and statistically significant correlation between the scores of organizational confidence level and the dynamics of institutional change which were evaluated by the secondary school teachers in the Gaza governorates. Based on the previous findings, the researcher recommends several recommendations as follows: 1) To promote organizational trust in all educational institutions because it is the basis for change in society and is responsible for change mechanisms formulation in this regard. 2) To enhance the concept of organizational trust especially for managers. This is essential because this concept removes the emotional barrier between him and his teachers, and improves the level of brotherhood among them. This is possible through explicit instructions and specialized training courses directed to the managers in this regard. 3) To establish clear managerial policies concerning the provision of appropriate training opportunities, and to establish transparent management systems in the field of performance evaluation that are applied justly and appropriately linked to the rewards and incentives systems. This is in addition to the delegation of authorities, securing the sense of security and job stability, and other effective means that promote institutional change. (Author’s abstract)
