This study comes to research the use of smartphones by university students and to identify the different gratifications they achieve. And knowing the differences in the uses and gratifications of smartphones by the university youth class, by conducting a field survey study on a sample of students from the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences at the University of Biskra Algeria, and to finally arrive at proposals and recommendations for optimal use of smartphones to maximize the benefit from them and to achieve their greatest satisfactions to serve the benefit of university youth.
