The study aimed to reveal the extent of the effectiveness of the educational program (The Little Thinker) in developing and improving the literacy skill of students with learning difficulties in Ibin Al-Khattab School in Hantoub locality, and then identifying the relationship in the degrees of the post-test of reading and writing skills of students with learning difficulties according to the time age variable. The study followed the experimental approach, and the study population is represented in the students of Ibn Al-Khattab School in Hantoub locality and the sample of the study consisted of (57) students, all of whom were males, who were chosen by the intentional method, and the study tools were represented in the diagnostic scale of learning difficulties, and the educational program (The Little Thinker). The information was processed using Statistical Packages for the Social Sciences (SPSS). One of the most important statistical treatments is the (T) test for two independent groups, and the Fakronbach coefficient and the analysis of variance. The study reached the following results: There are statistically significant differences between the mean scores of the two groups in the post test due to the teaching method, which confirms the effectiveness of the program. There are statistically significant differences in the scores of the pre- and post-test of reading skill among pupils with learning difficulties at Ibn Al-Khattab School in Hantoub locality before and after the implementation of the (Little Thinker) educational program in favor of the largest intermediate and group (post). The study recommended conducting more research and studies in the field of learning difficulties to detect reading and writing difficulties and developing special training programs.
