هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى البحث في النشاطات الواردة في مقررات المرحلة الأساسية/التهيئة في فلسطين من حيث أنواعها وتوزيعها على الصفوف وعلى الوحدات الدراسية لكل صف، ومدى ملائمة الأنشطة للعناوين الواردة، واقتراح مدى التغيير الذي يمكن أن يقوم به مركز المناهج في المرحلة الثانية للمناهج الفلسطينية. تعتبر هذه الدراسة جزءاً من عملية تقييم المقررات الدراسية الفلسطينية الأولى التي ترافق عملية التأليف نفسها، وهي ستساعد القائمين على المناهج الفلسطينية في زيادة وعيهم بالنشاطات وأنواعها والتوازن فيما بينها، مما سيجعلهم يأخذون بها عند البدء بطبعات جديدة، وربما ينعكس ذلك على مرشد المعلم والمقررات الدراسية للصفوف الأخرى. تم مسح النشاطات الواردة في المقررات وتصنيفها حسب أنواعها، وإجراء الحسابات الإحصائية البسيطة لوصفها، ومن ثم تحليلها للتوصل إلى الصفة المميزة لكل نشاط، وتم اقتراح نقل بعض النشاطات إلى الأنواع الأخرى. وقد توصلت الدراسة إلى العديد من النتائج أهمها: 1) إن هناك خمسة أنواع من النشاطات هي: عام، عملي، قضية للمناقشة، أفكر/أبحث، نشاط ختامي، 2) أن مقررات العلوم في المرحلة الأساسية تزخر بالنشاطات، 3) أن عدد النشاطات في الصفين الأول والثاني يزيد عن المعدل مقارنة مع نشاطات الصفين الثالث والرابع. ووجد أن نسبة النشاطات الموزعة على الصفوف وعلى الوحدات كان غير منتظم، وإن كان النشاط العام هو الأعلى، كما أن النشاط الختامي اختفى في الصفوف الأعلى، وتحولت كذلك النشاطات إلى النشاطات العملية. وخلصت الدراسة إلى مجموعة من التوصيات في مجالات الدراسات، المنطلقات العامة في المنهاج والتأليف. The purpose of this study was to examine the activities in science textbooks in the basic/preparatory educational cycle in Palestine through identifying their types and distribution across classes and study units for each class; studying the extent to which activities are compatible with textbook headings; and making recommendations regarding the extent of change that the Center for Curricula can introduce in the second stage of Palestinian curricula. This study is considered part of the first assessment process of Palestinian science textbooks that accompanies the textbook preparation phase itself, and will help those involved in preparing Palestinian curricula by expanding their awareness of activities, activity types, and the balance between them, which will hopefully prompt them to take that into consideration in new editions and in developing the teacher’s guides and the textbooks for other classes. The activities existing in textbooks were surveyed and classified according to type, and simple statistical calculations were made to describe and analyze them to in order to identify a distinctive trait for each activity. The survey resulted in recommendation that some activities by replaced by other activity types. The study reached several conclusions, the most important of which were: 1) There are five activity types: general, practicum, topic discussion topic, thinking/researching, and closing activity; 2) The science textbooks in the basic stage abound with activities; and 3) The number of activities in the 1st and 2nd grades exceeds the average compared to activities in the 3rd and 4th grades. The study also found that the distribution of activities across classes and study units was uneven, with the general activity being the highest, and the closing activity disappearing from the higher classes, where textbook activities also turned into practical ones. Finally, the study proposes a number of recommendations for research in the areas of curriculum and textbook development. (Published Abstract)
