يتناول هذا البحث موضوع التنشئة السياسية في الخطاب التربوي الأردني ومدى التوافق (أو التعارض) بين التنشئة الدينية والتنشئة الوطنية في ما يخص مفاهيم الديموقراطية وحقوق الإنسان في هذا الخطاب. ومن خلال تحليل مضمون النصوص القانونية والنصوص المدرسية، إضافة إلى مقابلات مع صانعي القرار التربوي في الأردن، يبين البحث أن موضوع التنشئة الدينية الإسلامية يحتل مركز الصدارة بين أهداف التنشئة في نظام التعليم الأردني، بينما التنشئة على الديموقراطية تحتل مرتبة ثانوية. ومن جهة أخرى، يبين البحث أن التنشئة السياسية الهادفة إلى إعداد مواطن صالح في ظل نظام حكم ديموقراطي، تتعارض مع التنشئة السياسية الإسلامية التي تبثها كتب التربية الإسلامية بوجه خاص. يكشف البحث عن غلبة حجم النصوص الدينية بمختلف صورها (20%) على كتب اللغة العربية مقابل نسبة 6% للنصوص ذات المحتوى السياسي المرتبط بقضية الديموقراطية وحقوق الإنسان. وفي كتب التربية الإسلامية، لا تبرز أي إشارة أو مثل لأنظمة الحكم الديموقراطية. أما من كتب التربية الوطنية فتظهر حالة تعايش بين نصوص مصاغة بلغة عصرية علمانية عند الحديث عن الديموقراطية ومبادئها، وبين نصوص مشبعة بالآيات القرآنية والأحاديث الشريفة المختارة التي تدعم الديموقراطية وحقوق الإنسان. ويخلص البحث إلى أن خطابي التنشئة الإسلامية والتنشئة الوطنية يتشابهان سياسياً أكثر مما يختلفان، كما أن دلالاتهما أقرب إلى اتجاه سياسي أوتوقراطي سلطوي منها إلى اتجاه سياسي ديموقراطي. This study addresses the issue of political formation in Jordanian educational discourse and the extent of compatibility (or conflict) between religious and national formation regarding the concept of democracy and human rights in that discourse. Through content analysis of Islamic legal texts and academic texts, in addition to interviews with educational decision-makers in Jordan, the study demonstrates that the issue of Islamic religious formation ranks foremost among the goals of formation in the Jordanian educational system while democratic formation ranks second. In another respect, the study demonstrates that political formation aimed at forming a good citizen within a democratic government conflicts with the Islamic religious formation disseminated by Islamic education books in particular. The study reveals the dominance of the volume of religious texts in all their forms (20%) in Arabic language books, compared to a 6% share for texts whose subject matter is related to democracy and human rights. In Islamic educational books, there is no reference or example of systems of democratic governance. As for national education books, these exhibit a coexistence between texts written in modern civic language when discussing democracy and its principles and between texts saturated with Koranic verses, and selected hadeeth (Prophet’s sayings) that support democracy and human rights. The study concludes that the discourses of Islamic formation and national formation, politically, are more similar than different and that their signifiers are closer to an authoritarian autocratic political dimension than they are to a democratic political direction.
