يهدف البحث الحالي إلى تحليل محتوى كتاب الجغرافية للصف الخامس الأدبي في ضوء ابعاد التنمية المستدامة، اعتمد الباحث المنهج الوصفي منهجا لبحثه، ولتحقيق هدف البحث اعد الباحث استبانة للمجالات الفرعية للتنمية المستدامة الرئيسة (البيئي، الاقتصادي، الاجتماعي) وتألفت الاستبانة من (43) مؤشرا فرعيا، عرضت على مجموعة من السادة المحكمين لبيان آراءهم وملاحظاتهم حول الأداة، واستخرج لها الصدق والثبات، وتم استعمال الوسائل الإحصائية المناسبة، وبعد تطبيق الأداة تم التوصل إلى النتائج الآتية: إن محتوى كتاب الجغرافية يتضمن الأبعاد التربوية المستدامة الرئيسة الثلاث، أهتم كتاب الجغرافية بالبعد البيئي ولكن هناك ضعف بالاهتمام بالبعد الإقتصادي والبعد الاجتماعي، مع العلم أن الابعاد الثلاثة تمثل حلقة متكاملة لا نستطيع إهمال أي بعد منها، وأوصى الباحث بعدد من التوصيات والمقترحات. The current research aims to analyze the content of the geography book for the fifth literary grade in the light of the dimensions of sustainable development, the researcher adopted the descriptive approach as a methodology for his research, and to achieve the research goal, the researcher prepared a questionnaire for the main sub-fields of sustainable development (environmental, economic, social) and the questionnaire consisted of (43) sub-indicators, I was presented to a group of arbitrators to indicate their opinions and observations about the tool, and honesty and consistency were extracted for it, and appropriate statistical methods were used, and after applying the tool the following results were reached: The content of the geography book includes the three main sustainable educational dimensions, Geography book cared about the environmental dimension, but there is weakness in caring for the economic and social dimensions, knowing that the three dimensions represent an integral link, and we cannot neglect any of them. The researcher recommended a number of recommendations and proposals. (Published abstract)
