استهدف البحث التعرف على مهارات ما وراء الذاكرة وعلاقتها بالدافعية للتعلم، تطلب بناء أداة لقياس ما وراء الذاكرة اعتمادا على مفاهيم نظرية للموضوع، كما تبنى الباحث مقياس السيلاوي (2016) لقياس الدافعية للتعلم وبعد استخراج مؤشرات الصدق والثبات، طبقت الاداتين على عينة البحث البالغة (400) طالب وطالبة، أظهرت النتائج أن أفراد العينة لديهم مستوى من مهارات ما وراء الذاكرة وكذلك لديهم مستوى بسيط ومقبول من الدافعية للتعلم وهناك علاقة ارتباطية واضحة بين مهارات ما وراء الذاكرة والدافعية للتعلم، وقدم الباحث عدد من التوصيات والمقترحات. The present research aims at identifying the skills beyond the memory and their relationship with the motivation to learn. Constructing a measuring scale was needed to measure beyond memory depending on theoretical concepts of the variable. The researcher adopted (Alsilawi's 2016) scale for measuring motivation. After extracting the indicators of validity and reliability, the two scales were applied to the research sample which was composed of (400) male and female students. The results show that the individuals of the research sample enjoy a level of beyond memory skills and they have a simple but acceptable level of motivation to learn. A positive correlative relation between beyond memory skills and motivation to learn was identified. The researcher proposed a number of recommendations and suggestions. (Published abstract)
