هدف البحث الحالي إلى دراسة العلاقة بين صورة الجسد وتقدير الذات كمؤشرات تنبؤية بالشره العصبي لدى طلبة كلية الجامعة ونتج البحث عن: وجود علاقة ارتباطية سالبة بين الشره العصبي وكل من تقدير الذات وصورة الجسم وعلاقة ارتباطية موجبة بين صورة الجسم وتقدير الذات، كما أشارت النتائج إلى الاناث اكثر شره عصبي وأقل رضا عن صورة أجسادهن من الذكور وإن الذكور أكثر تقديرا لذواتهم من الإناث كما أوضحت النتائج أن كل من صورة الجسد وتقدير الذات متغيرات متنبئة بالشره العصبي لدى عينة من طلبة الجامعة. The present research aims at studying the relationship between Body Image and Self-esteem as Anticipatory Markers of Bulimia nervosa among University Students. It is concluded that there is a negative correlational relationship between bulimia nervosa and body image and self-esteem, and that there is a positive correlational relationship between body image and self-esteem. Results also show that females suffer more than males from bulimia nervosa and they are less satisfied of their body image than males too. In addition, males appeared to have more self-esteem than females. Thus, the results have explained that body image and self-esteem are anticipatory variables of bulimia nervosa among a sample of university students. (Published abstract)
