هدفت الدراسة التعرف إلى مستوى تطبيق الحوكمة في مديريات التربية والتعليم في محافظتي الخليل وبيت لحم من وجهة نظر مديري المدارس والإداريين فيها. استخدم فريق البحث المنهج الوصفي في دراسته، وتم اختيار عينة طبقية عشوائية بنسبة 30% من مجتمع الدراسة (ن=1038) بلغ عددها (311) مديرا وإداريا. ولتحقيق أهداف الدراسة، قام الباحثون ببناء استبانة لقياس درجة تطبيق الحوكمة مكونة من 50 فقرة موزعة على خمسة مجالات، وتم التحقق من صدق الاستبانة وثباتها بالطرائق البحثية المناسبة، في حين استخدمت التحليلات الإحصائية المناسبة للإجابة عن أسئلة الدراسة وفحص الفرضيات. أظهرت نتائج الدراسة أن درجة تطبيق الحوكمة في مديريات التربية والتعليم في محافظتي الخليل وبيت لحم من وجهة نظر مديري المدارس والإداريين فيها كانت متوسطة، وأنه لا توجد فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية عند مستوى الدلالة (a≤0.05) بين متوسطات إجابات عينة الدراسة لدرجة تطبيق الحوكمة في مديريات التربية والتعليم في محافظتي الخليل وبيت لحم يعزى لمتغير سنوات الخبرة. في حين كانت هناك فروق ذات دلالة بين متوسطات استجابات أفراد عينة الدراسة تعزى لمتغيري المديرية والمسمى الوظيفي. وفي ضوء النتائج، أوصى الباحثون بتعزيز درجة تطبيق الحوكمة في مديريات التربية والتعليم في محافظتي الخليل وبيت لحم بكل الوسائل المتاحة، بالإضافة إلى إجراء الدراسات المتخصصة في حوكمة التربية والتعليم من قبل الباحثين والتربويين والمؤسسات المعنية بتطبيق الحوكمة. This study aims at identifying the level of implementing governance in the Directorates of Education in Hebron and Bethlehem from the viewpoint of school principals and administrators by using the descriptive approach. A stratified random sample (n=311) of principals and administrators was chosen forming (30%) of the study population. To achieve the objectives of the study, the researchers developed a 50-item questionnaire to measure the degree of implementing governance; covering five domains. Reliability and validity of the study were secured by appropriate statistical methods. Results showed that the level of implementing governance in the Directorates of Education in Hebron and Bethlehem from the viewpoint of school principals and administrators was moderate. The study also showed that there were no statistically significant differences at the level of (a 4 0.05) among the averages of the study sample answers to the degree of implementing governance in local Directorates of Education, that can be attributed to years of experience, while there were significant differences due to the variables of Directorate of Education and job title. In light of the findings, the researchers recommended raising the level of the application of governance in the Directorates of Education in Hebron and Bethlehem by all means available, and conducting specialized studies in the governance of education.
