The challenges facing the trainees enrolled at technical colleges in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia from their leaders' point of view the study aimed to identify the challenges facing the trainees enrolled in technical colleges in Saudi Arabia from the point of view of their leaders. The researcher conducted the field study and used the descriptive method, besides the documentary approach. The study tool was designed in two parts. Part 1: general information about technical colleges’ leadership and the second part includes 31 items that represent the challenges facing the trainees. The study sample reached 299 leaders, while the number of completed responses that could be statistically processed were 204, with a percentage 68% of the study population the study reached to a number of results, the most important of which were: the axis of institutional challenges came at the first rank, followed by the challenges of vocational guidance and training at the second rank, followed by the challenges of training programs. There were statistically significant differences in the responses of the study sample on the axis of the institutional challenges at the level of (0.01) due to the difference in years of experience in favor of those who had (less than 5 years) or (5 years to 10 years). There were also statistically significant differences in the responses on the axis of the challenges related to the members of the training staff at (0.05) among the sample in favor of those who had (less than 5 years). The researcher presented several recommendations including retaining young leaders in technical colleges having the ability to discover the challenges that hinder this educational system, besides the necessity of addressing the problems of horizontal and vertical movement between the technical colleges and engineering, technical and military higher studies.
