The study aimed to identify the main obstacles of electronic supervision utilization in general education schools from the point of view of educational supervisors in Riyadh. It also sought to show the effect of the variables of the study which are the academic qualification and supervisory experience. In order to achieve the objectives of the study, the researchers used descriptive analytical method through the questionnaire tool. The sample was comprised of (150) educational supervisors distributed to the different educational offices in Riyadh. The data was collected electronically and then analyzed and processed statistically using the statistical package for social sciences (SPSS). The analysis of the results revealed that the educational supervisors face administrative difficulties due to the absence of the general atmosphere in the educational offices and schools to fit the electronic supervision and the absence of continuous courses for educational supervisors on electronic supervision. The supervisors also face many technical obstacles such as slow internet and the lack of interest in repairing computer malfunctions. In addition to the weakness of the level of communication infrastructure, which prevent the implementation of electronic supervision. One of the most significant human constraints was the lack of educational supervisors who are specialized in computers operation and maintenance. As well as the shortage of human resources and personnel specialized in the design and construction of electronic supervision system. The results also indicated that there were statistically significant differences between the averages of the responses of the educational supervisors on the axis of administrative and human obstacles according to the different qualifications, in addition to the existence of differences of statistical significance among the average responses of supervisors on the axis of technical and human obstacles due to different years of supervisory experience. In the light of the results, the study presented a number of recommendations, notably: 1) rehabilitating of educational supervisors in the use of computer and internet in order to provide them with the technical skills necessary to implement electronic supervision. 2) Stimulating the educational supervisors to apply the electronic supervision method, either financial or moral incentives. 3) Improving the appropriate infrastructure for the application of electronic supervision, such as the provision of computers and communication networks and contracting with specialized companies and the rehabilitation of a team of technical support to maintain and face technical obstacles.
