هدف البحث الى التعرف على مستوى التسامح الفكري والصحة النفسية لدى طلبة جامعة كركوك في العراق، والتعرف على الفروق في التسامح الفكري على وفق المتغيرات: القومية (العربية، الكردية، التركمانية) والديانة (مسلم، مسيحي) والمذهب (سنة، شيعة) والنوع (ذكور، اناث) وللعام الدراسي (2017،2016) وهدف أيضاً إلى التعرف على العلاقة بين متغيري البحث ومدى اسهام التسامح الفكري في الصحة النفسية. وقام الباحث بإعداد مقياسي البحث واستخراج الخصائص السيكومترية من الصدق الظاهري والبناء والثبات، ولتحقيق أهداف البحث تم إختيار عينة طبقية عشوائية بلغت (810) طالباً وطالبة، ودلت النتائج أن عينة البحث تتسم بمستوى منخفض من التسامح الفكري ومستوى عالي الصحة النفسية، وعدم وجود فروق في التسامح الفكري تبعاً للمتغيرات (القومية، الديانة، المذهب والجنس) ويوجد اسهام للتسامح الفكري في الصحة النفسية. (الملخص المنشور)

The research has aimed to know the level of intellectual tolerance, and mental health among the students of the University of Kirkuk in Iraq, and to know the significance of the differences in an intellectual tolerance according to the variables of national (Al-Arab, Al-Kurd, Al-Turkmen), religion (Muslim, , Christian) doctrine (sunna ,shiia), and gender (male-female), for the academic year of (2016-2017).The research aimed also to know the relationship among the variables of research and the contribution to intellectual tolerance to mental health. The researcher used intellectual tolerance, and mental health scales prepared by researcher, and to achieve the goals of this study a random class sample consisted of (810) males and females and the psychometric properties of the scales such as validity (logic, face, and constructing), and reliability have been obtained. The findings showed the following: Students of Kirkuk universities are characterized by low levels in intellectual tolerance, and high level in mental health, and there are no significant differences in intellectual tolerance according to national, religion, doctrine and gender, and there are contribution to intellectual tolerance to mental health.
