The study aimed to identify the reality of the preparation of the teacher from the perspective of the members of the teaching staff in the Faculty of Education at Misurata University in light of the overall quality standards. The problem of the study was identified in the following main question: What is the preparation of the teacher in the Faculty of Education at Misurata University in light of the overall quality standards? In order to answer the questions of the study, the researcher used the analytical descriptive method, where she prepared a comprehensive questionnaire on the reality of teacher preparation in the faculties of education internationally and verified its validity and stability. The study tool included in its final form (91) (Standard) distributed over (10) areas. The study tool was applied to a random sample of members of the faculty size (52) members. The results of the study indicate that the percentage of availability of the total quality of the teacher preparation reality from the Faculty of Education, Misurata University from the point of view of faculty members is (%60). In light of these results, which reveal the need to work on developing the reality of the teacher's preparation, the study recommended several recommendations, the most important of which are: diversity in the methods of training, qualification and quality and the development of the objectives of the faculties of education; the development of a clear and specific policy for accepting students; Teaching and learning methods and assessment, developing material resources, deepening the content of courses, using modern teaching and learning methods, using various assessment methods, developing field training objectives, developing student performance in the field.
