هدف هذا البحث إلى وضع تصور مقترح لمناهج الكيمياء بالمرحلة الثانوية، في ضوء معايير العلوم للجيل القادم، ولتحقيق هذا الهدف تم استخدام المنهج الوصفي؛ لتحليل محتوى مناهج الكيمياء بالمرحلة الثانوية، بهدف تعرف مدى تضمين المؤشرات المتعلقة بمعايير العلوم للجيل القادم بها، ومن ثم وضع تصور مقترح في ضوء نتائج هذا التحليل، وتكونت عينة البحث من جميع مقررات الكيمياء بالمرحلة الثانوية الصادر عن وزارة التعليم للعام الدراسي 0442هـ -0440هـ، وقد تم تحديد معايير العلوم للجيل القادم للكيمياء بالمرحلة الثانوية، ووضع أداة تحليل محتوى مناهج الكيمياء بالمرحلة الثانوية، في ضوء هذه المعايير، و تم تحليل المحتوى، ووضع التصور المقترح في ضوء هذا التحليل، عدة نتائج، من أهمها: أن معايير العلوم للجيل القادم لم تتوفر بشكل عام في مناهج الكيمياء بالمرحلة الثانوية، ووضع تصور مقترح لمحتوى مناهج الكيمياء في المرحلة الثانوية بالمملكة العربية السعودية في ضوء معايير العلوم للجيل القادم NGSS ، وفي ضوء هذا التصور تم وضع العديد من التوصيات والمقترحات من أهمها الأخذ بالتصور المقترح لتطوير مناهج الكيمياء بالمرحلة الثانوية. The aim of this research was to develop a proposed conception of the Chemistry curricula in the light of the science criteria for the next generation (NGSS). To achieve that, descriptive approach was used to analyze the content of all Chemistry curricula of secondary school students to identify the degree of inclusion the science criteria for the next generation in Chemistry curricula, after that the researcher developed a proposed conception according to the analyzation result. The sample was all Chemistry curricula for the first-grade secondary school issued by the Ministry of Education for the year 1440/1441AH. The NGSS list was prepared and content analysis tool for Chemistry curricula of secondary school was designed according to NGSS list, then the content was analyzed, accordingly the proposed conception was developed. The research result showed that the science criteria for the next generation were didn’t included in Chemistry curricula of secondary school in general and developed a proposed conception of the Chemistry curricula of secondary school according (NGSS). In the light of the findings some recommendations and suggestions were mentioned, the importance one was to apply the proposed conception to develop Chemistry curricula of secondary school.
