Secondary education is one of study stages in hierarchy of learning. It is the chain of connection between primary school study and high school study in learning. Also, it is one of the basic pillars in hierarchy of learning in which the nations try to develop and evaluate and to establish basic foundations of knowledge in learning which contributes in building human civilization. The study of geographical subject of secondary education in Miqdadiya district has an important concern in revealing the areas of variance in distributing educational institutions in this district during the year 2014-2015 and on the level of two environments (urban and rural) in the district. The research included the study of geographical distribution for secondary educational services in Miqdadiya district. The number of secondary schools and students increases in rural areas, while secondary schools and number of students in urban areas are less. Also, the number of teaching staff in rural areas is higher than those in urban areas and the same thing for classes in rural areas are more than urban areas. (Published abstract)
