This study aimed to investigate the effectiveness of the training program in the development of moral meta cognitive thinking for a sample of tenth grade students in Jordan, and to achieve this goal the researcher to build a training program for the development of moral meta cognitive thinking is based on meta cognitive thinking skills of the three, namely, (planning, self¬monitoring, and evaluation) as the researcher to build a special measure of moral meta cognitive thinking contains a dimensions of meta cognitive thinking the three (knowledge of the person, know the mission, strategic knowledge), and have developed specific criteria for the correct scale. Applied training program on the group semi-empirical, and applied the standard on the two quasi-experimental and the control group, which was consisted of 120 students from tenth grade students at the School of International Pioneers Academy as a post- test, and then was selected group quasi-experimental, which consisted of 20 students, and the control group which consisted of 20 students, then the researcher apply the training program on the group semi-empirical rate of four weekly sessions for both males and females for a period of eight consecutive weeks, and in the end, the researcher apply the standard moral ineta cognitive thinking as a pre - lest, and then the correct measure and extract the averages and standard deviations of the experimental and control group and extract the results. The results showed that there is effectiveness of the training program in the development of moral meta cognitive thinking with an increase level meta cognitive thinking of quasi-experimental group were exposed to the training program unlike the control group which did not show any difference in the level of moral meta cognitive thinking. The results also showed a different degree of effectiveness of the training program depending on the variable of gender in favor of male students and a different degree of effectiveness of the training program depending on the variable achievement (high, medium, low) for the benefit of high achievement students , so the study recommends that further studies on the subject of the moral meta cognitive thinking and its impact to raise the level of thinking in solving the ethical problems faced by the individual in the current era, and the development of training programs similar to the training program used in the current study to address the positions of moral commensurate with the age groups younger, such as primary and building standards especially to moral meta cognitive thinking to suit the age groups younger.
