تتحدد مشکلة الدراسة  فی ضعف تحصیل واستیعاب تلمیذات المرحلة الابتدائیة للمفاهیم الدینیة ، ویظهر ذلک من خلال الأداءات والاستخدامات غیر الصحیحة لتلک المفاهیم ، مما أوجد ضعفا فی محصلة المفاهیم الدینیة اللازمة لهن ، بالإضافة إلى ندرة استخدام القصص القرآنی لإکسابهن هذه المفاهیم. ولمواجهة تلك المشکلة قامت الباحثة بتحدیدعینة الدراسة المکونة من مجموعتین من تلمیذات الصف الثالث الابتدائی ، أحدهما تجریبیة ، والأخرى ضابطة ، تتکون کل منهما من (40 ) تلمیذة ، وقد تم اختیار القصص القرآنی تحدیدا ؛ لاحتوائه على المفاهیم الدینیة اللازمة لهن ، وأیضا لکون القصص عامة ، والقصص القرآنیة خاصة أسلوب تربوی شائق وجاذب للتلمیذات ، وفاعل فی تحقیق هدف الدراسة وهو:  تنمیة المفاهیم الدینیة اللازمة لتلمیذات الصف الثالث الابتدائی. ولتحقیق الهدف تم تصمیم قائمة بالمفاهیم الدینیة اللازمة لهؤلاء التلمیذات ، وتم ضبطها وتقنینها ، وتصمیم قائمة بالأداءات الموضحة لاستیعاب المفاهیم وفهمها ، وتم ضبطها وتقنینها ، ثم تم بناء برنامج قائم على القصص القرآنی لتنمیة هذه المفاهیم  فی ضوء القائمتین ، وبما یتناسب وطبیعة التلمیذات المعنیات ، وطبیعة المفاهیم المحددة . وقد تم تطبیق أدوات الدراسة والبرنامج على العینة المحددة ، وتم معالجة النتائج إحصائیا، وقد أسفرت النتائج على فاعلیة البرنامج المقترح " القائم على القصص القرآنی " فی تنمیة المفاهیم الدینیة اللازمة لتلمیذات الصف الثالث الابتدئی. The effectiveness of a program based Quranic stories in the development of religious concepts to elementary school girls.
