This study aimed to the preparation and testing of a proposed program for the development of awareness of certain environmental issues have a second episode of the students of basic education through the teaching of home economics To achieve this scorer was prepared program includes activities and a variety of teaching aids, as achievement test was developed to measure the level of knowledge in three levels of waste (remembering, understanding and application), and measure awareness of the issue of waste. Tools has been applied to the study on the study sample before and after the study program, has reached to study the effectiveness of the program proposed in the development of knowledge and the development of waste awareness of the issue of waste have first preparatory grade students through teaching home economics.
