هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى الكشف عن الدور الذي تقوم به جامعة الملك خالد في مواجهة ظاهرة التطرف والإرهاب من وجهة نظر طلبتها، واختبار فاعلية المتغيرات المستقلة التي يمكن أن يكون لها تأثير في تقييم الطلاب لهذا الدور. ولتحقيق ذلك تم بناء أداة علمية احتوت على (44) فقرة، وبعد التأكد من صدقها وثباتها، تم تطبيقها على عينة من طلاب الجامعة. وبعد عمل التحليلات الإحصائية المناسبة أسفرت النتائج عن أن درجة قيام جامعة الملك خالد بدورها في حماية طلبتها ضد ظاهرة التطرف والإرهاب كبيرةٌ؛ حيث اتضح أن هناك (35) دوراً من هذه الأدوار تقوم بها الجامعة في حماية طلبتها من ظاهرة التطرف والإرهاب بدرجة كبيرة، في حين نجد أن تسعة ادوار تقوم بها الجامعة بدرجة متوسطة، كما أشارت النتائج إلى وجود أثر للكلية والسنة الدراسية والعلاقة بعضو هيئة التدريس في تقييم هذه الأدوار، في حين لا يوجد أثر للمعدل التراكمي في تقييم هذه الادوار. This study aimed to reveal the role of King Khalid University in facing extremism and terrorism from their students’ and testing the effectiveness of a set of independent variables that can have an effecton evaluating students of this role. So to achieve this, a scientific instrument was designed containing (44) paragraph. After an appropriate statistical analysis conducted, the results showed that the degree of King Khalid University role in protecting its students against extremism and terrorism is significant, where it turns out that there are (35) role of these roles played by the university in protecting its students from extremism and terrorism significantly, while we find (9) roles played by the university with a medium. The results also indicated that there is an effect of faculty, academic year, and the relationship with faculty member in evaluating these roles, while there is no effect of the cumulative average.
