This study aims to illustrate the importance of employing the picture in the Arabic language teaching curriculum for the non-native speakers (descriptive analytical study) sine the picture considers a pivotal pillar in teaching the language generally, and the Arabic language particularly, because the importance of the picture describes as universal language understandable by the old and young, the Arab and non-Arab equally. This study has invested in showing the picture importance and reading it to show its significance and the importance of employing it in the educational curriculum. The visual learning has important role in the learning-teaching process, because we can deliver many types of information through the sight without using the words and speech, because of this the picture considers as a universal language understandable by everyone, the picture is not an end used in the educational process, rather a visual educational means has its direct effect on eliminating the learners distortion in understanding the meaning of the vocabularies and the sentences to understand the language generally. Form this point came the idea of this study to attract the attention of the curriculum designers and teachers to show the important role of the picture in facilitating the learning of the non – native Arabic speakers. The first chapter addressed the theoretical side, and the advantages of the picture content in the educational process to attract the reception's visually. The descriptive analytical method is used in this study to show the importance of employing the picture at the teacher, learner and the curriculum level, by mentioning the features and students’ level and his curriculum. While the second chapter addressed the critical side in which appeared the descriptive analytical side in studying three curricula did not mention the picture side in preparing the curricula teaching the Arabic language for the non-native speakers. The third chapter in the applied side, since a study unit has been established in which the picture activated in a clear and relevant form, taking into account to the picture topic and content, and contra version between psychology linguistic and language teaching methods. The study reached the confirmation about the importance of employing the picture especially for the non-native Arabic learners, then ascertaining its usage in features and content relevant to the current situation.
