The researcher used the descriptive method (correlative and comparative). A number of appropriate psychological measuring instruments were used as tools for this study. After statistically analyzing the data, the results indicate a positive correlation relationship between the dimensions of identity achievement and identity moratorium and self-esteem, and a negative correlation relationship between the dimensions of identity foreclosure and identity diffusion and self-esteem. Also, the results indicated a positive correlation relationship between the dimensions of identity achievement and identity moratorium and academic achievement, and a negative correlation relationship between the dimensions of identity foreclosure and identity moratorium and academic achievement among the university male and female students.
