تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى وصف الطريقة التي يُعدّ بها المحتوى التعليمي في كلية السلطان قابوس لتعليم اللغة العربية للناطقين بغيرها، والكشف عن رأي المدرسين ورضاهم عن هذه الطريقة، وإيجابياتها وسلبياتها من وجهة نظرهم، واتبعت الدراسة المنهج النوعي في البحث، واعتمدت على تحليل المحتوى لوثيقة (خطة البرنامج) المنظمة للتدريس في الكلية، وعلى الاستبيان المفتوح لجمع المعلومات من المدرسين، واختارت عينة من مدرسي الكلية، بلغ عددهم ثمانية مدرسين. وأظهرت النتائج أن (خطة البرنامج) مع أنها اشتملت على عناصر المنهج، وتضمنت مصفوفة محتوى لكل مستوى من المستويات اللغوية، إلا إنها افتقرت إلى التحديد الدقيق للمحتوى التعليمي، وأنه يُعتمد على المدرس في إعداد المحتوى المناسب بناء على المصفوفة دون التقيد بمحتوى معين، وأظهرت النتائج كفاءة المدرسين للعمل بهذه الطريقة، كما أظهرت قصورا في اعتمادهم على المصفوفة لإعداد المحتوى، وأن المدرسين أظهروا درجة متوسطة من الرضا تجاه هذه الطريقة، كما أظهرت النتائج الإيجابيات والسلبيات من وجهة نظرهم، وفي ضوء ذلك قدمت الدراسة توصياتها ومقترحاتها. This study aimed to describe the way by which the educational content is prepared in the Sultan Qaboos College for Teaching Arabic to Non-Native Speakers (SQCA). It surveyed the teachers' level of satisfaction towards as well as their opinions on the positives and negatives of such a way. The study followed the qualitative approach and used the documents analysis method to analyze SQCA's Programme Plan along with an open survey to collect data from a selected group involving eight of SQCA teachers. The results showed that the Programme Plan, although consists of the elements of the curriculum and included the content matrix for each linguistic level, lacks a precise identification of the educational content. The Plan depends on the teacher to select the appropriate content based on the matrix without restriction with a certain content. The results found that the teachers are competent when they follow the current way of content preparation and that they underutilize the matrix to select the content. The teachers showed a moderate level of satisfaction towards this way. The findings also unleashed the positives and negatives from the teachers' point of view and, in view of that, the study proposed its recommendations and suggestions. (Published abstract)
