هدفت الدراسة إلى التعرف على مستوى الذكاء العاطفي لدى مديري المدارس الحكومية في غزة، وتقدير درجة النجاح في ممارساتهم القيادية، وفحص ما إذا كان هناك علاقة ارتباطية بين مستوى الذكاء العاطفي ودرجة النجاح في الممارسات القيادية لديهم، ولتحقيق ذلك تم تطبيق أداة الدراسة، وهي عبارة عن استبانة لقياس مستوى الذكاء العاطفي بأبعاده المختلفة واستبانة للممارسات القيادية، على عينة من المعلمين بلغ حجمها 736 معلمًا ومعلمة، وقد توصلت الدراسة إلى أن مستوى الذكاء العاطفي لدى المديرين مرتفع، حيث بلغ وزنه النسبي 75.6%، وكذلك درجة النجاح في ممارساتهم القيادية مرتفعة حيث بلغ الوزن النسبي لها 77.6%، كما كشفت الدراسة عن وجود بعض الفروق في تقدير أفراد العينة لمستوى الذكاء العاطفي، ودرجة النجاح في الممارسات القيادية، كما بينت الدراسة أن هناك علاقة ارتباطية موجبة وقوية بين مستوى الذكاء العاطفي لدى المديرين بأبعاده المختلفة، ودرجة نجاحهم في كل ممارساتهم القيادية، وقد أوصت الدراسة عدة توصيات، أهمها ضرورة اختيار المديرين على أساس مستوى ذكائهم العاطفي، وضرورة الاهتمام بمهارات المديرين وقدراتهم من خلال استثمار ذكائهم العاطفي. The aim of this study is to identify the level of emotional intelligence of the headmasters of public schools in Gaza, to assess how successful their leadership practices are and to examine whether there is a correlation between the level of emotional intelligence and the degree of success in their leadership practices. To achieve this objective, the study tool is applied to a sample of 736 teachers from both sexes. The tool is composed of a questionnaire to measure the level of emotional intelligence in its different dimensions and another questionnaire for leadership practices. The study concludes that the level of emotional intelligence among headmasters is high, with a relative weight of 75.6%, and the degree of success in their leadership practices is also high with a relative weight of 77.6%. The study also reveals that there are some differences in the respondents' assessment of the level of emotional intelligence and the degree of success in leadership practices. In addition, the study shows that there is a strong positive relationship between the level of emotional intelligence of headmasters, with its different dimensions, and the degree of their success in all their leadership practices. The study suggests several recommendations the most important of which is the need to select managers on the basis of their level of emotional intelligence, and the need to pay attention to the skills of managers and their abilities through the investment of emotional intelligence.
