هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى الكشف عن مستوى الإدراك البصري لدى طلبة جامعة اليرموك في ضوء متغيري أنماط السيطرة الدماغية والجنس. تكونت عينة الدراسة من (500) طالب وطالبة، تم اختيارهم بالطريقة العشوائية الميسرة من طلبة الكليات العلمية والإنسانية. ولتحقيق أهداف الدراسة تم استخدام أداتين، وهما: مقياس الإدراك البصري، ومقياس السيطرة الدماغية. أظهرت نتائج الدراسة أن النمط (D) جاء في المرتبة الأولى، بينما جاء النمط (A) في المرتبة الأخيرة، وبينت النتائج أن مستوى الإدراك البصري لدى الطلبة جاء بدرجة متوسطة، كما أشارت نتائج الدراسة إلى عدم وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية تعزى لنمط السيطرة الدماغية في الإدراك البصري, وعدم وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية في الإدراك البصري تعزى للجنس, ووجود فروق تعزى للتفاعل بين نمط السيطرة الدماغية والجنس, لصالح الذكور في النمطين (A, C)، ولصالح الإناث في النمطين (B, D). This study aims at revealing the level of visual perception among Yarmouk University students in light of the variables of types of brain dominance and gender. The sample of the study consists of (500) male and female students from scientific and humanitarian faculties students from Yarmouk University. To achieve the objectives of the study the researcher uses two instruments: visual perception scale, and Herman instrument to brain dominance. The results of the study show that the (D) type is in first rank, while the (A) type is in last rank, the results show the level of visual perception is moderate level, and the results show there are no statistically significant differences attributed to type of brain dominance in the visual perception. It also shows that there are no statistically significant differences attributed in the visual perception; yet, there differences attributed to the reaction between type of brain dominance and the gender.
