هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى الكشف عن العلاقة بين الذكاء والإبداع لدى طلبة جامعة اليرموك. تكونت عينة الدراسة من (858) طالباً وطالبةً، منهم (248) طالباً، و(610) طالبةً من طلبة الجامعة. لتحقيق أهداف الدراسة، تم استخدام اختبار تورانس للتفكير الإبداعي الصورة اللفظية، واختبار رافن للذكاء. أظهرت نتائج الدراسة أن مستوى الذكاء لدى الطلبة كان طبيعياً، وجاء مستوى الإبداع متوسطاً، كما أشارت النتائج إلى وجود علاقة دالة إحصائياً بين مستوى الذكاء ومكون (المرونة، والأصالة، والإبداع ككل) لدى الطلبة، وعدم وجود علاقة دالة إحصائياً بين مستوى الذكاء ومكون الطلاقة لدى الطلبة، وعدم وجود اختلاف دال إحصائياً في قوة العلاقة الارتباطية بين مستوى الذكاء ومستوى الإبداع، يعزى لاختلاف متغير الجنس لدى الطلبة. This study aims at revealing the relationship between intelligence and creativity among Yarmouk University students. The sample of the study consists of 858 students (248 males, 610 females) from university students. To achieve of the objectives of the study, the researcher uses Torrance test for creative thinking verbal image, and Raven test for intelligence. The results of the study show that the level of intelligence among students has been normal, and the level of creativity has been moderate. The results also indicate that there is statistically significant relationship between the level of intelligence and (flexibility, originality and creativity as a whole) among students, there is not statistically significant relationship between the level of intelligence and fluency among students, and there is no statistically significant difference in the relationship between level of intelligence and creativity due to gender variable among students.
