Administrative efficiency of the deans of the faculties of King Khalid University and their agents and their relationship to organizational health from the standpoint of the heads of academic departments [Article]
This study aimed to detect the level of Administrative efficiency and organizational health of the deans of the faculties and the agents of King Khalid University from the standpoint of the heads of scientific academic departments. In order to achieve the aim of this study, the researcher used the descriptive approach in its two methods, which are correlation and survey methods. Moreover, the researcher designed a questionnaire consisted of two axes and fifty items distributed online on the population of this study (291), which are the heads of the scientific academic departments of the university college in Abha city, and the researcher used a number of statistical methods appropriate to the nature of this study. The results of this study indicate that the level of administrative efficiency of the deans of the faculties at King Khalid University in general was great from the standpoint of the heads of the scientific academic departments, and this result shows the ability of the deans and the agents of collages on the importance of defining the roles of the staff, assign tasks to specialized staff, determine the goals accurately, clarify the roles of work, control the difficulties and conflicts within organization efficiently, achieve justice in work, and reject nepotism and cronyism within organization. In addition to, the results show that the level of organizational health of the college deans at King Khalid University was great from the standpoint of the heads of the scientific academic departments, and this result indicates the recognition of the deans and the agent of collages to the importance of creating work environment, organize work, and develop the possibilities of educational institution in accordance with the modern trends. Furthermore, the result shows a proportional impact of administrative efficiency on organizational health i.e whenever the administrative efficiency has been increased; the organizational health will be increased. Based on the results of this study, the researcher put a number of recommendations and suggestions. (Published abstract)
